The Talking Circle is a weekly support group for young women in Livingston. It is offered in partnership with Southwest Chemical Dependency Program. The group provides young women with a safe and confidential environment to discuss the various issues they are struggling with in their lives.

Lisa McNamee, LCPC, Program Director for Shift Empowerment Programs – Lisa has been facilitating youth empowerment and leadership programs for adolescents for eight years. She has also been in private practice for the past six years, working with individuals and families.
Jacqueline Isaly, LAC, Counselor for Southwest Chemical Dependency Program – Jacqueline has been working as a Licensed Addiction Counselor at SWCDP for the past four years in an Outpatient Treatment setting with both adults and adolescents. She has three years of experience with girls’ support groups at PHS, facilitates a weekly DBT skills training group, teaches the Prime For Life substance abuse education program for adolescents and works with clients individually. She also has two years of prior experience working with Shift programs.
Where We Offer Talking Circle for Girls
Currently, this program is only offered in Livingston at PHS during the school year or at the Shift Office during the summer.

The Talking Circle is open to all young women ages 14 to 18
